If you love bohemian style year round, and you’re not quite ready to give up the wonderful light that filters in through fall and winter, then our sheer, white-on-white boho curtains are for you! We’ll start with these lovelies at the windows, and then fill in our unique fall space with indigo and natural fiber pillows, and a selection of both brightly colored and muted accessories.
Curtains and Valances
These boho curtains are a defining element in a room without being overbearing. They beautifully set the stage for your unique, global furnishings and accessories throughout the seasons!
Use our delicately beaded valances to skim a window or to top a doorway. They’ll bring elegance and a bit of sparkle wherever they go.
If you like a bit of privacy, but still want to see the sunshine and all the glorious colors of fall, then opt for our café curtains. You’ll be surprised at how well you like the contrast of crisp white with the bright colors of autumn.
Pillows and Throws
In this space, we’ll make our secondary color a pale, misty Quartz. This tone operates like a neutral, against which you can accessorize with all kinds of bright pops of fall color! Add a layer of our patterned pillows along a couch, or place a single one in your favorite chair.
La Casa de Coto
If you’re in need of a bit of extra seating, or would love a place to prop up your feet while you read, then you can’t do much better than these amazing, chunky-weave floor pillows, straight from Barcelona. I like them so much, I would absolutely do a collection of three and stack them for great, functional decor.
Add in another layer of texture with our wonderfully oversized Royal Mansour euro sham in Coral. A designer’s delight (because they create such a large swatch of pattern), they are just as easily a snuggler’s delight: perfect for extra seating or tucking against your body while you rest on the couch.
The soft metallic sheen and the gentle sound of these bells create an ethereal, romantic sense – much in the same way that Royal Mansour does.
With this rug, we bring in our deep blue “neutral” and again, connect to the beautiful lattice work seen in our sheer curtains. (Plus, it’s wool – and what could be better underfoot in the fall?)
Add to the global feel in your space with a hand carved wall hanging. Our curtains are artisan made, too, and again, this connection will be palpable.
Vases and Florals
I chose this wreath for our space because of it’s light, organic look. I can’t bring myself to do a fully white room, but I very much like the sense of serenity that whites and neutrals create together. We’ll save bright pops of color for some of our smaller accessories and florals.
Here is an example of bringing in a little bold fall color to our white and neutral room. These stems certainly say “fall”, and will be real eye-catchers in your understated space.
Why, oh why, do I love mercury glass so much? I think it’s because you get so much shimmer, and so much surface texture in pieces that still are able to blend in well with almost any design.
