Dec 11, 2012 9:57 PM I love this print, beacuse of the deep color and versatility for many rooms. The 3 separate patterns come together in a rich feeling curtain. Nice job!
Dec 4, 2012 4:29 PM I think it's beautiful, it looks both lucious AND luxurious! I think it would be great for bedroom or bath especially.
Dec 2, 2012 7:26 PM As soon as Christmas shopping is done, I am going to buy a Love of Chocolate table cloth for ME! I wish I had had it for Thanksgiving. It is so lovely!!
Nov 30, 2012 9:12 PM I would use this in my dinning room. I really like the print and the color. I may buy this in the near future. I just discovered this web site and can't wait to buy some table cloths for my eating areas.
Nov 30, 2012 8:37 PM It's a lovely print and would look good any season, depending what other colors are used with it. I can see it looking lovely in a white or off-whte room, or quite cozy in a darker environment. I do not think the print is room specific, the only exception might be a small child's room. As drapes in a dining room painted milk chocolate with vanilla trim it would be wonderful. I might pair it with red accents on a trestle table for a country look. A matching tablecloth, vanilla napkins and gold rimmed dishes would also look great. Actually, with enough time, I bet I could come up with a dozen ways to use it. So you can see, I am definitely a fan!
Nov 30, 2012 7:13 PM I tend to like the blue colors more - however I find this print very elegant and would be most likely to use it in my dining room.
Nov 30, 2012 7:12 PM I tend to like the blue colors more - however I find this print very elegant and would be most likely to use it in my dining room.
Nov 30, 2012 6:16 PM I LOVE brown, so I was intrigued by the name. But, I think it is too monotone and the print is rather plane too. It needs something else to make it richer--bits of green and red or green and orange, or maybe some flecks of yellow. As it is it strikes me as "blah," which is unusual. I love about 80% of your prints and wish I had more places to put them up!
Nov 30, 2012 2:49 PM I have been wishing for something this neutral in color from you all (even though I also love all the blues and golds and reds). It might work for our guest room which has been moving to a brown and yellow kind of vibe. I don't think it is season specific....at least not here in Vermont where we always have luscious browns around.
Nov 30, 2012 11:39 AM Definitely, I would use this if it was the color I am looking for. A wonderful color scheme would be to use creams and white on walls, drapes, etc. to accent the brown. I do NOT think it is season specific and could be used in all rooms. I look at your website often and try to decide which bedspread (what I need at this moment) I would like for my room.
Nov 30, 2012 10:33 AM Love the pattern , and the brown and cream work very well together . I do think the color brown limits the use of this print ; it doesn`t go with all colors. However , it would look very nice in my turquoise colored bedroom......
Nov 30, 2012 9:22 AM The color would go with so many diverse homes. I think that the color is neutral and eye popping at the same time.
Nov 30, 2012 7:21 AM Although I don't think I can afford to buy it right now, I love browns in my kitchen. It would look fabulous with my dishes and my cabinets and other furnishings. I see it as a year-round print, at least in my house. It's a very warm color--love it. And I love chocolate--maybe that has something to do with it :-)
Nov 30, 2012 6:26 AM I love it. It seems very autumn to me, but could certainly be used year round. I love the table runner and napkins and could easily picture this print being used in the kitchen. It is warm and cozy and inviting. But I could also see using it in the bedroom, with the duvet and pillow shams. It's a color that would easily go with many other colors so it would be easy to incorporate it into existing decor. In addition to the color, I also like the print. It's very simple, yet lovely.
Nov 30, 2012 6:23 AM I love it for the dining room--tablecloths, napkins, table runners! I don't think it is season-specific, but I would use it more in the fall, winter and late summer. It's perfect for harvest time.
Nov 30, 2012 5:28 AM I can see this print would work well for tablecloths in general because the neutral color could go well with any dish or any food or additional decorations set on the table; in addition is a powerful color and texture, which would give character to the table and keep guests focused on a dinner conversation or bring attention to a round table or anything set on a table runner. I don't think this swatch would work well for the curtains or the shower curtain; I think is too dark for windows, in a window any brighter color would emphasize the light coming through, but I feel that this particular print would dampen the light too much; however, the pattern on the print is bright and cheerful so, I think I would probably consider using that pattern on a window curtain if the color was brighter. Similar with the shower curtains, I think the pattern is ok but I would probably choose a different color for a shower, maybe a light green or light blue with that pattern, even a 'cream' or light brown color. I hope this is helpful!
Nov 30, 2012 4:59 AM Hello! I do like the "For the Love of Chocolate" print but I'm not sure I see myself using it in my home. I don't believe it is season specific as a nice chocolate color never goes out of style. Also, my personal opinion is not to feel limited by seasons as I would prefer to just buy something I love and cultivate a home filled with things that make me happy. Personally, I prefer textiles with a little more color and va va voom so "for the love of chocolate" doesn't quite do it for me for my personal home but it doesn't mean I wouldn't recommend to others who may have more subtle taste or prefer their textiles to be a backdrop for other items in their home. Brown is a beautiful neutral and if I am going to use it in a textile then I would prefer the print to be bolder to give it a little more of a voice, especially as I have a lot of wood furniture or brown leather in my home so a subtle brown print would just get lost in the mix. I do like the print as a shower curtain and as pillows. I don't think it does much as curtains, but again I think that is affected by my preference for a bolder color or print. If the material was not cotton and was a heavier, textured material then I wouldn't mind a muted color or subtle pattern because the texture and material would be giving depth and warmth to the room. But with lighter, cotton materials I feel like it needs to be an extra special print in order to be worth the price and to provide the same wow factor. That could also be because I live on the East Coast of the US where half of the year, it is cooler and in those cooler months I am pulled towards heavier, cozier textures. I do think the print works well as a tablecloth, however, as it could serve as a beautiful background for a tablescape with nature infused products. For reference, prints I LOVE of your company: 1. Dance O' Peacock 2. Purple Moon 3. Spice Route 4. Vanilla Glace 5. Ocean Waves I see that you ask if I am an existing customer. I am not as your products, as much as I love them, are just a tad out of my price range but I have been a loyal follower and fan for a couple of years now. (I actually won a tablecloth during your thanksgiving giveaway and I couldn't have been happier! It is stunning - Purple Moon!) I have been waiting until my husband and I have a house to make the splurge as I would love to get some of your curtains. Thank you for making such beautiful, unique quality products and caring about what your customers (or just fans) have to say. All the best!
Nov 30, 2012 4:02 AM I only feature brown in one room, my guest bathroom, so if I ever decided to make a linen change in there I'd consider this pattern. That said, everyone always comments on my Saffron Marigold linens since they are not something you see in the area curtain shops or department stores. I love that I can make my window treatments a lovely and unique focal point in my rooms.
Nov 30, 2012 3:56 AM It is beautiful, classic and contemporary.
Nov 30, 2012 3:44 AM Although it is a handsome print I personally wouldn't buy it because I like lighter or brighter colors. I also tend to like softer designs that aren't so pointy. I've been looking forward to purchasing something from you but I am not technically an "existing customer".
Nov 30, 2012 2:39 AM I do like it. It is very simple, neutral and I can see it working well in any room really. Also a nice choice for a guest room as it it isn't pushing any theme or colorways. Well done.
Nov 27, 2012 6:08 PM I really liked it because I think it would compliment the Vanilla Glace curtains I already own. I'm still considering whether to buy... waiting for a sale or deal!
Nov 27, 2012 4:09 PM I liked the chocolate color immediately, but am somewhat unsure about the pattern. I am considering it for my livingroom, I'm just afraid I would get tired of looking at hearts.
Nov 21, 2012 4:06 AM I love the print. I am buying it for a friend as a dining room tablecloth. Her decor is international and this will go perfectly. I'd like to buy it for myself but at this point I can't afford it for the both of us. :-) I would be more likely to use this print in the fall/winter than in the spring/summer. I can see it working as curtains in my living room or dining room and as a table cloth. This doesn't feel to me like it would work in a kitchen, perhaps because the print pattern is large but that it probably my preference and the fact that my kitchen is small and already does not have a lot of light. I have been a customer for several years now and have purchased probably 10 things. I have always been delighted with what I've bought. I have also found the items to be very multipurpose. I might use something as a tablecloth and then switch it up to be a top layer for a multi-layered bed covering. I have also used a table cloth as a curtain between rooms and as wall hanging to cover a large expanse of wall instead of wallpaper. I've used one item as a top cover for a piece of furniture to change the look of the room. I use the items in my cottage as well as in my home. I can see buying a table cloth in this print in the future and using it in all of these ways. Amy
Nov 20, 2012 2:48 AM I think it would suit most outdoor areas as a tablecloth or as a hall runner. Nice design . You will probably sell lots. Don't know if I would have it in a bedroom. Sometimes less is more and it would be too busy as a curtain or bedspread. Hope this helps.
Nov 19, 2012 5:10 AM I really love the ideas that are sent out showing how to enhance the prints..I would buy them all if I could.
Nov 19, 2012 4:43 AM As I live along the Great Lakes, the falls and winters can be very grey, so a dark print like this, while very elegant, would not be a cheerful addition to my home. That said, for a home with white washed walls and light tiled floors, this lovely rich brown would help provide a grounding to any table!
Nov 18, 2012 5:17 PM Using in home Not season specific but will be using it in colder months Would like to see it in a full range of jewel tones
Nov 18, 2012 3:56 PM I really like this print but it does not fit into my decor. But so many of your other prints do, so not to worry!
Nov 18, 2012 3:15 PM it makes me think of hot chocolate and it strikes me as a fall/winter fabric. i could see myself using it in my dining room with a harvest/thanksgiving theme with orange and cream accents. i could also see it in my bedroom with toss pillows in shades of cream and tan.
Nov 18, 2012 2:34 PM I do think that I would purchase a king bedspread for my master bedroom. I have brown curtains that I took down last year to replace with red ones to match the red bedspread I bought from you. This way I could change things up a bit from time to time. I don't think it is season specific. I think it would work any time of year.
Nov 18, 2012 12:21 PM I really enjoy this one though i have to admit I "creep" your sight quite often as I enjoy just about all of your prints. It is almost therapy lol!!! Ok sorry this one is very nice no, i don't see it as seasonal it could be used in any season it would be how it was paired up with other decor. absolutely love you products sadly my budget doesn't allow for purchase just drooling(sorry)
Nov 18, 2012 11:48 AM best pattern since the gorgeous blue water one.... still looking for a sale price on a shower curtain, table cloth or bed spread to make them more affordable for my budget. on my wish list. I've been tracking your prices for a few years.
Nov 18, 2012 11:41 AM I could see using this print in my dining room as a tablecloth or runner with my brightly colored fiesta ware dishes. It does seem season specific: I think I would enjoy it the most in the fall. I don't see myself using it in the bathroom; I prefer to use lighter colors for decorating there.
Nov 18, 2012 11:22 AM I love your new dark chocolate line. Very unique. The color would work well in the dining room as well in in the living room coffee table. It will match with cream or ivory walls, and accentuate furnishing of purple, gold, orange, and green hues. Always amazing, the artistict, quality products Saffron Marigold discovers and produces for appreciative, design minded clients. Thank you very much for your ongoing commitment to excellence.
Nov 18, 2012 11:10 AM I love the color but feel it's more of a Fall/Winter color. Your prints are quite beautiful and I've loved everything I've gotten from you so far, so yes I like the style and color, it's richness is very nice.
Nov 18, 2012 9:04 AM This is a lovely print. I do not think it is limited to one room, but I do believe it is seasonal when used in a dining room. The rich colors are perfect for autumn/winter.
Nov 18, 2012 9:01 AM I found this new print very rich and beautiful. I would like to buy a runner for my daughter for Christmas this year. I live with her and she has your curtains in 3 of the rooms plus your green tablecloth for when the table has 3 leaves in it. We have a brown beige Persian carpet under the dark cherry harvest table in the dinning area of the open concept main living area. The new print runner would be beautiful for everyday or company. I think the dark brown would be beautiful in any room and for any season. The rich Colorado could coordinate match or accent any decore.
Nov 18, 2012 8:44 AM I think it is a lovely and interesting print. It has my daughter's name written all over it! You just helped me with her Christmas gifts. She was just married in June and they have not finished certain parts of their condo. I can certainly see this as the basis for her bathroom decor, and I know she would love it in the kitchen for entertaining and gracing her table. When she finished her degree she traveled to India and Nepal for 6 months. She adores this type of decor and I am thrilled to see this new choice in the colors she most loves. I am more a blue/green/purple/pink person, so the things I have purchased from you for myself have been different color choices. Thank you for the lovely and beautiful creations you offer! Sincerely, Mary Ellen Summer
Nov 18, 2012 8:34 AM I live at the beach so my colors are more in the blues. This brown is beautiful. I love it, but will not be buying it.
Nov 18, 2012 8:17 AM For the Love of Chocolate. Who doesn't love chocolate. The 'old world' and at the same time 'contemporary' design is perfect for the dining room, kitchen or anywhere neutral, exotic fabrics are wanted. It's an ideal table cover for the fall holidays but can also be used as a 'quick change' look for a tired table.
Nov 18, 2012 8:02 AM I think this print would go well with leather furniture, in a male apt.
Nov 18, 2012 7:38 AM I love the color and print. It's especially appropriate for fall but could be carried into the winter holidays. I am very fond of warm colors so this collection appeals to me.
Nov 18, 2012 6:58 AM I love this print. The color is rich and warm, and the pattern works with a formal table setting, or everyday. Cream colored plates would look fantastic and accent colors in a centerpiece or other decor / serve ware could evoke any number of special occasions. I can see getting a lot of use from this print. I think it is gorgeous!
Nov 18, 2012 6:30 AM A great look for a room with a lot of sunlight. The rich brown would compliment any theme and blend with a variety of colors. Love it!
Nov 18, 2012 6:24 AM I would love this for Fall/Thanksgiving season in the kitchen and the livingroom. It is very warm and welcoming. I love your product and look forward to purchasing in the future.
Nov 18, 2012 6:01 AM I like chocolate in wood like tables, chairs, cabinets not in fabric. i like fabric to be complementing chocolate like aqua, teal, orange, rust
Nov 18, 2012 5:49 AM Love this print and the chocolate color. It would look great in my daughter's dorm room as well as my bedroom and dining room.
Nov 18, 2012 5:36 AM I tend to go lighter in my decorating schemes but this is gorgeous and has me thinking about how it would look in a small bathroom. I like the richness of it.
Nov 18, 2012 4:50 AM Yes, I can see myself using this print at home. The print is suitable for any time of the year. It can be used in any room.
Nov 18, 2012 4:34 AM I liked the print and border but thought the chocolate was too dark - I need to have bright colors to create a larger, airier space. The brown would work for someone who has a larger room with less things in it, I have more clutter and objects and have learned that they don't show well on darker colors.
Nov 18, 2012 4:17 AM I have mixed feelings because as much as I like the tiny print, I do not love the border design. My whole upstairs is done in browns and tan so it sounds like a perfect match for all year.
