Ask the Designer: How to Mix and Match Dreams of India

Saffron Marigold - Updated: February 24, 2015

I am planning on ordering the smaller Dreams of India pillow covers in goldstone, amethyst, and ruby. I was wondering if you lovely folks had any recommendations about mixing and matching the prints. Thanks for your help! Love this wonderful company and its beautiful products!

Before we chose a few more prints to go with Leigh-Anne’s order, let’s take a look at her palette. She’s chosen three jewel toned throw pillows from our Dreams of India collection. These are warm and bright and are stunning as a trio.

Since Leigh-Anne would like to add to her collection, I’ve chosen pillow covers which vary a bit in size and shape, adding in euro shams and boudoir shams along with throw pillows. I’ve kept the palette warm and bold with salmon pink, bright blue-purple, sunny yellows and a variety of florals.

Can’t you just imagine a spring or summer bed piled high with these beauties? Or a living space given new life in an afternoon? (Remember, super quick upgrade = switch out pillow covers!)

Leigh-Anne, let us know what you end up choosing. We’d love to see how our prints work in your space!
