I was going to write you and say how beautiful they look and how happy I am with them but I was too busy sitting and admiring them. Absolutely love the tablecloth and shams. They came out of the dryer and, for my taste, needed no ironing!!! If I can get myself together I will send you a picture. I have an old cottage in Santa Cruz with plywood walls and the drama of that fabric in my bedroom is quite wonderful. Have not decided yet on the voile I selected for the curtains in the living room. It has a lacier appearance than I am used to -- fits the house well, me not so much. I've had your Starry Nights curtains in there and everybody loves them but it is the western sun on them so off-white is a better choice for the long run. Some people have admired the way the Starry Nights curtains have begun to fade in an ombre manner -- does add a dimension at this level. Sorry. Some old ladies tend to rattle on. The order I placed is for family and friends who are far and wide:
to a sister in south Texas who lives on 40 acres with horses and dogs and is an interior design consultant
to another sister who will use them in her second house in the St. Petersburg, Florida area
to an Oklahoma friend who is Canadian and has a summer cottage near Lunenburg, Nova Scotia
to an Oklahoma sister in law and brother who have a ranch and second home that is rustic and has a western feel to it
to a daughter who lives in a small apartment in Lander, Wyoming who loves to entertain and loves color
I have previously ordered a tablecloth and napkins for myself and napkins for another daughter who lives in OKC. I have also bought a duvet cover for an upstairs bedroom in my home where the colors are quite consistent, but there are many different patterns in pillows, with throw rugs and with art....my walls and carpet are neutral so I can use the patterns and colors as I do.
Each of the recipients of my most Christmas order is a creative and accomplished woman who loves color and easily mixes fabrics, textures, and designs for an array of uses. All of them entertain and especially like to have a pretty table. I am certain they will love their gifts and will likely want to know more about your products. The design I have is a batik-like print. I used the cloth and napkins for my Thanksgiving table pulling out the reds and other colors through flowers and candles. It was quite rich and warm with a lot of depth.
Actually, I was stuck without many ideas for Christmas until one of your emails arrived...so it was an excellent reminder for me. Thanks ~ Susan

Thanks for the email. I received the curtains and they are indeed beautiful. The only reason I may consider returning them is because online, the detail looks metallic gold. In reality it is burnt orange, which I thought was strange. I know that the computer screen can distort color but this was far off. Everything else about the product was fine. FYI, they are mineral green Signature Wrinkle resistant Solid Sateen
Bedding (Garnet Hill). I love your products! I have several oriental
rugs in our bedroom, which go perfectly with your bedding patterns and
colors.
One question: I will wash the covers in cold water - do I dare put
them in the dryer? I would rather not, but they are so large I have no
way of air-drying them. Advice, please.

They can be washed in the machine... cold and gentle using a gentle detergent. Please dry in the dryer on low. If you remove them from the dryer when they are not completely dry and spread them out, you may not need to iron them.

I did receive the duvet cover yesterday, thanks for your fast shipping and follow-up email. I am impressed with the design and colors of it, but to be honest there were two things that concerned me. First was, it has a pretty strong odor coming from it. I assume that will fade with time, not too big a deal. Also, the black on one side of the cover is very rich and dark, while the black on the other side seemed more faded. There are lightened/faded streaks randomly dispersed throughout that side. I understand that this is a handmade item and there can be variation from piece to piece. I'm just going to assume the lighter marks make this one unique. I will be keeping it. Nancy from Pasadena, CA: Just a couple of notes on my recent purchase of two fabric samples. Delivery and packaging was superior! The table runner colors are a bit too dark for our dining room which tends to be dark to begin with. I thought the colors online were a bit brighter. So I can't use it in that room. On a brighter note a absolutely love the curtain panel. The problem is, it looks wonderful everywhere I put it so must decide where it will end up. Both samples are lovely just one too dark.
