As gorgeous and vibrant as our exotic prints and patterns are, I want to remind you about our equally gorgeous, pristine, pure whites – Vanilla Glacé and Paisley au Lait to name just a couple.
Recently we’ve talked a lot about bold, deeply hued intense colors for the bath, but there is something to be said about a bath that is all decked out in white. Take a look at these two baths, aren’t they lovely?

If calm and serene is your calling, then using the Vanilla Glacé and Paisley au Lait shower curtains in your bath will simply relax you like nothing can!
Towel storage
Of course, that you are going to use thick fluffy white towels is a given, but the trick with all white bath is to introduce a tad of color by way of natural, organic accessories. Wicker, seagrass, jute and rattan all work wonderfully bringing in a warmth that is so easy and relaxed. Nothing too bright or colorful, just earthy, muted tones.
Furniture
Distressed white wood definitely adds a vintage country flavor, but something about the beaten weathered look of it all evokes memories of the sea and the ocean. What better way to start calming the nerves?
Accessories
Use found objects like sea shells and dried flowers to heighten that sense of the natural. Using metals like brass and copper brings a gleaming warmth to what could otherwise be a cold space. Similarly use art work that is free flowing, fluid and organic to the eye like the spiral of the nautilus shell or waves crashing to the shore.
Sensory touches
Lotions and candles that are lightly fragranced to add that wee little touch to the bath, are better than heavy perfumes like musk and other floral tones.
Pure and simple
I’m ready to slip away into this bath and get completely lost. What about you?
