Take a look at our lovely table linens and ideas for easy entertaining. In the spirit of Saffron Marigold, we’ve focused on things that are handmade, or that you can make.
- Tableware: (I know everyone doesn’t want to run out and buy new plates, but it’s still fun to see what really pops with these prints). We’ll keep in mind too, that a colored charger under a neutral dish accomplishes the same striking look.
- Simple Decorations you can make that will give your table the hand-touched look that is Saffron Marigold.
- Recipes that are global, yet perfect for fall gatherings.
Use a couple of these ideas, and add a few of your own for a really memorable Thanksgiving feast!

Wonderful!!! Thank you so much for including my plates.
Leslie,
I’m happy to highlight your plates in this Mix and Match. They, along with your other work, are gorgeous!
Wow! What a lovely table you will have for the holiday’s. I am honored you included my square bowls. This is such a lovely collection and article. I am a big fan of handmade things, and this is so inspiring!
Thanks! I agree, handmade is the way to go. (There is a very cool slideshow on the Indian block printing process on the Saffron Marigold website – you’d probably enjoy it.) By the way, I spent a lot of years doing pottery so I’m kind of opinionated about it – and I LOVE your glazes and chunky, bold pieces!
Fabulous fall blog! I love the colorful pallet of colors you picked. I may be stealing some of your ideas this Thanksgiving! I love MudPlace’s Red Iron Glazed bowls!
Thanks, and feel free to steal!
I searched for Madras spreads for a long time. Was so-o happy to find your web. I LOVE your products, and enjoy buying for myself, but, am hesitant to purchase for others as one never knows their tastes. I find your items alive, colorful, tasteful and durable. Thanks for being there for me. I do suggest you to others when and if I realize they are interested in the products you carry. Thanks! Bob Ford
Bob, thanks so much for your kind words, and for suggesting us to friends. We are happy that our linens have found a place in your unique home.

The India Summer napkins are the perfect match for my newly painted dining room – just beautiful!
So glad to hear it! Enjoy fall entertaining in your new space!

The Spice Route tablecloth and kilim noir napkins I got for last Thanksgiving still look wonderful with all our red toned Persian rugs and walnut furniture. We live in an old concrete walled tower, but all the reds and browns make it look very warm.
I love the Memories of Shalimar as well as the White Ivy. Beautiful items.
