I’ve never been to the Virgin Islands but I am imagining warm tropical breezes, peaceful Caribbean blue waters, pristine white sands and a casual down-to-earth lifestyle! Further googling reveals that not only am I right, but the temperatures all week are in the low 80’s! (How unfair is that????)
Karen has cleverly conveyed all that in her pictures. The comfortable feel of cool cotton, billowy curtains fluttering in the breeze, earthy terracotta tiles to keep the rooms cool, wicker furniture out in the verandah, palm trees beyond…I can almost hear the slow steady whirr of the ceiling fan! All signs of relaxed island living!
