Floral prints were everywhere in the spring and summer 2010 season, from fashion runways to home décor accessories, and it looks like they are here to stay.

While the fashion gurus will have loads of advice and inspiration on how to dress yourself in floral prints, I thought I would bring you up-to-date on how to incorporate this still-hot trend into your home.
Lonny magazine’s latest issue had a huge feature on Cath Kidston, the queen of floral prints and she had some great advice on how to make florals work for you..”sometimes floral (fabrics) are best used as a statement piece versus flooding the room.” For example,” she says, “take a very plain bedroom and add a floral linen to the bed so it is the only print in the room.” (source: Lonny).
And hey, why stop at the bedroom? Florals, in the right amounts, will add height-of-fashion feminine chic and style to your home and we love that because at Saffron Marigold offers many floral prints that can perk up any room in the house. Check our Midnight Lotus collection of Blue and white floral bed linen, curtain panels and table linen.
Or try our bold and bright India Rose collection of Pink bedding, Curtains & Table Linens.
Our Waltz of the Vines collection of Yellow, Floral Summer Bedding, Curtains & Table Linens print is a stylish design inspired by aquatic vines that will evoke memories of summers well spent at the beach.
Does this inspire you to add floral prints and patterns to your home décor? Do share your ideas and pictures. We would love to hear from you!
