Furniture and accessories:
Oranges and reds are usually the colors associated with autumn, but earthy browns, ochres, yellows and greens are as important, not just to balance and harmonize the other colors, but to soothe and calm the eyes after all that riot of color. Engage the senses: Smell and see….
And then of course, for the final treat, surround yourself with objects that will heighten the senses and create the mood. These pot candles from Himalayan Trading Post, will fill the house with a spicy scent. How much more “Autumnal” can it get???
A great idea from Casa Diseno blog - pick some branches off the red maple, the persimmon tree or a berry bush, place them in rustic ceramic ware or a glass vase, and bring the outside fall colors inside.

Spice Route Fall Inspiration
I think for a lot of people Fall is the favorite season of the year! Not just for the burst of color all around us, but it is the best time of the year for close comfortable gatherings and family get togethers, hot soups. warm breads, games by the fireside. Its the beginning of the holiday season, a slow countdown till the New Year!
