When Anisha designed our special blue and white Moonlit Taj print curtains she was inspired – of course – by the incomparable Taj Mahal itself. In moonlight at the Taj Mahal, inlaid patterns created with the pietra dura technique shine and shimmer in bright mystery. This effect is the muse for our print.

An example of the pietra dura technique on the Taj Mahal
Introduce the same scrolling vines and luminous flora to your living room on our 100% cotton, fair trade and hand printed curtain panels. In the daytime, these read as fresh and light…in the evening, they’ll add a translucent glow to your space.
I’ve rounded up a few accessories that play off of the palette and print of Moonlit Taj. The total look is feminine, exotic and fresh. (And if you love blue and white, it’s absolutely fabulous)!
1. The perfect perch for reading, this blue and white scrolled chair will be sweet angled near the window.
2. Add a shimmery scrolling vine mirror to your wall to recall the way moonlight plays in the night.
3. I love the way that the colors in this pillow build on the palette of Moonlit Taj. The ochre flowers add another layer of color that you can tie into your space.
4. Finally, a candle flickering inside this lantern will build ambiance and add to moonlit mystery!
Whether in your living room, bedroom or office, Moonlit Taj will provide a wonderful inspiration for your own timeless escape. Enjoy the beauty!
