Fall is the season of cozy comforts, and today we’ll dive into creating warm, sensual, seasonal bath decor. The Tropical Garden shower curtain is a great transitional piece from summer to fall. Change a few accessories, and the toasty, bright colors of autumn come out to play. Hand printed, soft, luxurious cotton sets the stage for a naturally beautiful space.
Bath linens – Towels and bath mats:
Add a stack of creamy, plush towels in an “October” palette, and you’ll add color and welcoming softness. The first are from Restoration Hardware’s “Butter Collection”. Yum! If you’re a lover of deep earthy colors (like me), then the red towels from Amazon would be lovely, but do keep in mind that they will pack a punch in the bath, a stunning dramatic punch!
A thick bath mat is a must in cooler months. I prefer 100% cotton mats without that yucky rubber on the back. Cotton mats dry more quickly and have greater longevity. Both the mats here have that thirsty ability, to absorb all the water and yet dry quickly.
Accessories: Shower hooks and storage hampers
Sometimes, it’s all in the details. Adding these organically inspired leaf shower hooks is a sweet nod to nature and completes a fall look in your bathroom decor. Continuing on the leaf theme is this hamper centered by a stained wood window carved with a floral design.
Engage the senses: Fragrances and flowers
I’m loving these jewel toned pillar candles from Illume. With fragrances like Balsam & Cedar, Gardenia, and Coconut Milk Mango, you know you’ll be able to sink down into a warm tub surrounded by rich scents.
When I add flowers to my bathroom, I know it’s a good day. (This usually means that the rest of the house is so well put together that I finally have time to pay attention to an often overlooked room!) These Chrysanthemums are a gorgeous fall color and are so easy to find this time of the year. A bouquet like this would instantly pull out the honey gold tones in your Tropical Garden shower curtain.

If you’re interested in a Tropical Garden shower curtain, but are unsure if it will work with your fixtures or colors, I recommend purchasing a swatch. These are generously sized and very well priced, and offer you an accurate look (and feel!) of our linens.
